Located at 2075 Westbrook Mall and under the direction of Joanne Young, the Payroll Department is responsible for the following functions:

• Your Pay statements, ROEs, vacation payouts, etc.

• Your Benefit enrolments, including Health and Dental, Life Insurance, Disability, and Tuition Waivers.

• Your Taxes are deducted at source including CPP, EI and prov/federal income tax.

• Self Service provides access to your pay statements, tax slips, home address, benefits, and other information.

• Administrator assistance providing forms, policies, and other information to departmental managers

Tax Slips have been uploaded to Self Service

We have finalized the tax slips and uploaded them to Faculty and Staff Self Service at www.msp.ubc.ca

CPP and EI deductions start again

The start of a new year means that for many employees who maxed-out their CPP and EI contributions during the previous year will now see those deductions return (until maxing out again).

Also, there are changes to CPP in January 2012 that may affect you if you are 60-70 years of age and receiving your CPP pension.
