The University allows leaves from employment of many different kinds: maternity, medical, disability, personal, sabbatical, and layoff. The rights and responsibilities for these leaves vary according to each employment group. See your group below for details.

Cost to Maintain Your Benefits on Leave
Many types of leave allow you to maintain your benefits with the University during the leave. You may have to pay some or all of the costs, depending on the type of leave.
The Payroll office will invoice you for the cost of your benefits once notification of your leave is received.
